Founded in 2009 by Mate Rimac, Rimac Automobili is a Croatian car manufacturer, headquartered in Sveta Neddejia, Croatia and is focused on the employment of technology to revolutionise industries and produce next level electric cars that include drivetrains and battery systems. Mate Rimac’s vision was to build a sports car of the 21st century, that was achieved with the company’s first model, the Concept One – a vehicle that holds the title of world’s fastest production electric vehicle.
Rimac also develops and produces battery packs, drivetrain systems and full vehicles for its clients. The Applus+ IDIADA Volar-E is an example of the mobility solutions the company can deliver.
At the recent 88th Geneva International Motor Show, Rimac showcased the C_Two, a 415km/h hyper car with 1,888hp and a claimed 0 to 100km/h timing of 1.85 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars ever built.
